I’m a Gardnerville, NV photographer and mommy to 3 little ones.

Most days you can find me in a tee-shirt and jeans with my hair in a messy bun and a 50/50 chance of wearing make-up. I see the world through rose-colored glasses and I celebrate life for everything that it is.

Baking is my thing. I love the beauty of fresh fallen snow and I'm obsessed with farmhouse decor.

I'm all about keeping it classy but real and I find happiness in the simple thing (like cake for breakfast).

 Why Always Elegant Photography?

As a mom of three, I know first hand how difficult getting family pictures taken can be. Tasks such as coordinating outfits, doing your hair and make-up and getting the kids ready can all feel so overwhelming and time consuming. Not to mention, the burden of finally deciding on which images you love and what you’re going to do with them.

So I created a better way.

A better way to experience family photography. A simpler and easier way to work together. And a photography style that beautifully captures the moments that matter most.

Always Elegant Photography was created to serve busy moms like you.

You book the session and I’ll take care of the rest. I have a complete studio wardrobe making shopping and coordinating outfits a thing of the past. I work closely with a hair and make-up artist who knows exactly how to transform moms to their most beautiful selves. I’ll even get the kids ready and surprise them with goodie bags.

I’ve also got you covered when it comes time to choosing your favorite images and deciding what to do with them, Together, we’ll go through all your printed proofs and I’ll help you narrow down your favorites. Then you pick which products you want and I’ll design the rest.

All products were intentionally selected to tell your story over time. Whether this is your first session or your tenth, each new piece of fine art portraiture you choose will produce a layered collection of elegant family memories that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.

I love to keep things simple and elegant.

To me that means I use a lot of textures, white and neutrals. And yes, I count pink as a neutral. I love negative space and clean, intentional designs.

Rustic wood, delicate fabrics and classic baby toys are a few of my favorite things. Joanna Gaines is my spirit animal and I try to mix her design aesthetics into my photo sets and products I create.

My images are very light and airy. I stay away from harsh contrasts such as black and I encourage my clients to wear creams and muted colors during their photo sessions. I offer a studio wardrobe collection to make things easy by taking away the worry of not knowing what to wear.

Albums and other products that I offer combine high quality materials and handcrafted artisanship. Everything is thoughtfully designed to tell your story in a timeless, luxurious way.
