Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother’s Day is just a few weeks away and every year I like to make a “List of Suggestions” of what I would love for Mother’s Day. I know my husband appreciates it and this list tends to get used a lot for Birthdays and other gift-giving occasions.

I like to put a lot of thought into what I would love to receive and appreciate. Since I was already making this list for my personal use, I thought I would share it here and add a few things that I’ve either received already and love or that I enjoy giving to others.

10 Thoughtful Gift Ideas For Mom on Mother’s Day

Made By Mary Necklace:

I have been eyeballing these necklaces for years and this year it’s my top pick. You can create any combination of disc’s that represent your family and what you love. There are so many choices and I love them all. But I especially love the birth flower discs. They are dainty, elegant and make me happy.

Farmgirl Flowers:

You can’t go wrong with Farmgirl flowers. I have never received them but I send them often and they are delightful to shop from. They come wrapped in a burlap flour sack and lasts for weeks. Make sure to order early though because they do sell out especially around Mother’s Day. This idea is also perfect to give to your own mom on Mother’s Day.

Metal Sign:

I love quotes and word art. So when I found this sign with one of my favorite quotes on it I knew I had to add to my running list of gift ideas for myself. Even if no one gets this for me I will for sure be purchasing this in the near future. And that pink color make this sign a gift worth giving :)

Additional Metal Sign:

If pink is not your thing, here is another metal sign that I love. This saying is something I remind myself of daily. Because “A life well loved” is what it’s all about.

Blush Rain Boots:

I have to admit, I actually already have these rain boots because they were on my Christmas list. I love them and thought they would make a great Mother’s Day gift especially with the crazy weather we experience through June in Northern Nevada.

Some of my mom friends always ask for a day at the spa when a special occasion comes around. I recently got to attend a spa experience for a girlfriends birthday and it was amazing. Now, I always hint at a spa day for a special occasion. It’s a great way to spend the day and I always come back home truly relaxed. A Spa Day is perfect for any mom.

Brunch:

A great bunch can make a lovely Mother’s Day gift. This is how we typically celebrate Mother’s Day with my mom and mother-in law. It’s nice to eat slow and enjoy the morning together.

Mommy and Me Photos:

In the weeks leading up to Mother’s Day, I always make it a priority to step in front of the camera to capture a few special moments of me and my little ones. My husband knows this and often will be the one photographing me. These photos have become so cherished throughout the years. If this is something that you think you would love, I would be thrilled to have you attend this years Motherhood Event. My clients often ask their husbands if they can register for the event as their Mother’s Day gift. The Motherhood Event will be taking place on May 4th. If you're interested in attending you can check out the details here. I promise if I wasn’t a photographer I would still have photos with your babies on my list of gift ideas. It’s just that important.

Blush Cake Stand:

I love baking and cake stands are one of my things, so when I first saw this one I was instantly in love. I’m pretty sure I will purchase this for my Motherhood Event but it would make a great Mother’s Day gift. My boys got me a Hearth & Hand cake stand for Christmas and I use it daily. So this one would be perfect to add a little blush to our kitchen during springtime.

Girl Stop Apologizing:

I recently read this book and it would make a fantastic gift for any mom or your best mama friend. Rachael’s advice and action steps have already helped me so much this year that gifting this book for any occasion would be appropriate.

Noice canceling headphone:

With so much noise constantly happening throughout our home I often envision putting on these headphones and zoning out. Plus, they would be great at the gym.
