Client Story: A Mommy and Me Mini Session

Laura and I have known each other for almost 10 years. We were friends long before either of us had kids. In fact, we used to work together. I was a business banker and she was a bank manager. Throughout the years, I’ve been lucky enough to to be a part of her life’s biggest moments. From her wedding day to meeting her first little girl when she was only days old, I feel as if Laura is one of those friends who I do life with.

These days, Laura and I get to see each other often at kids birthday parties, holiday celebrations, town events and of course at her annual Motherhood photo session with me.

A little side story: Before I officially started my photography business, I was reaching out to friends and family to see if they were interested in having photos done by me. Laura was one of my first friends who said “absolutely” and handed over her new baby for newborn photos. In fact, her baby was my second newborn photo session ever.

I don’t even know if Laura knows this, but she was one of the first people to encourage me to pursue photography as a career.

Shortly after her newborn session, I started Always Elegant Photography and have been doing newborn photos ever since.

Anyways, Laura has been a mommy and me mini session client since they first began. I just adore being able to capture her and her family as they have grown over the years. When I look at these images I can instantly feel all the love and beauty this family shares. It truly captures those heartfelt moments and I know these images will be cherished for a lifetime.

Here are some images of just the kids.

Here are the last few mommy and me images just before the sun set.

I wanted to give Laura a special thanks for allowing me to share her story and all of her images.
